Eligibility Requirements
The candidate must be a qualified elector Constitution of Oregon and have resided in the City during the 12 months immediately preceding the election and in the Ward he or she seeks to represent for a period of 90 days immediately prior to election
Filing Requirements
File form SEL 101 with declaration and $5 filing fee OR with petition of 100 signatures of Albany electors (each elector may sign only 1 petition) with form SEL 121 (must be approved before circulating) [note: all signatures must be numbered and verified by the city elections official and filed with SEL 338]
