Eligibility Requirements
Must be a qualified Oregon elector and have resided in the city during the twelve months immediately preceding the election. Persons shall not be eligible for election as councilor unless at the time of his or her election the person is a resident of the ward from which he or she is elected.
Filing Requirements
File form SEL 101 and file by petition with at least 20 signatures of qualified electors (electors may sign only one petition) with form SEL 121 (must be approved before circulating) [note: all signatures must be numbered and verified by the city elections official and filed with SEL 338]
