Eligibility Requirements

Must be a citizen of Oregon, a Portland registered voter, and a resident of Portland for 1 year immediately preceding the election. Must obtain one of the following certifications and provide copies of such certification at the time of filing, per City Charter Section 2-502: Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, or Certified Management Accountant.

Filing Requirements

File by declaration with AUD 120 and $30 fee OR file by petition with 100 valid signatures with SEL 121 (must be approved before circulating) [note: all signatures must be numbered and verified by the city elections official and filed with SEL 338]
