The State Tax Court has jurisdiction in questions of law that involve tax laws. In the Tax Court, affected persons can dispute tax deficiencies determined by the Commissioner of Internal Revenue prior to payment of the disputed amounts.

Candidate must be a U.S. citizen, a state resident for at least 3 years, and a state bar member; mandatory retirement age of 75

Filing Requirements

Filing Fee-$100 OR The lesser of either (a) 1,000 signatures or (b) 1% of the number of votes cast for Governor in Oregon at the most recent election in which a candidate for Governor was elected to a full term.The signatures must include those of at least 100 electors registered in each of Oregon’s federal congressional districts.
