The County Racing Commissioner is responsible for licensing, regulating, and supervising all greyhound or horse race meets in the county.
Eligibility requirements
Must be a qualified elector of the county. Must not have been convicted of a crime punishable by imprisonment in the state or federal penitentiary. A member of the racing commission shall not be an officer, director, or employee of any licensee or have any financial interest in any race track or race meeting licensed by the racing commission and shall not own or race greyhound dogs in any race meeting licensed by the racing commission.
