The District Attorney is the chief legal representative of the district.
Eligibility requirements
Must be a qualified elector, a U.S. citizen, an Arkansas resident, reside within judicial circuit from which elected and during period of service, at least 18 years old, lawfully registered to vote, a licensed attorney in Arkansas for at least 4 years preceding date of assuming office, must never have been convicted of embezzelment of public money, bribery, forgery, or other infamous crimes
