Job description
The County Executive is the chief executive officer of the county. The executive is generally given full responsibility for the total operation of all departments in the county.
Eligibility requirements
Must possess the qualifications of an elector, must be a U.S. citizen, must be an Arkansas resident two (2) years before election, must be a resident of the county at time of election and during term of office, must be a minimum of twenty-five (25) years of age, must be lawfully registered to vote, must be a person of upright character, must be a person of good business education, must never have been convicted of embezzlement of public money, bribery, forgery, or other infamous crime.
