Job description
The County (Tax) Assessor/Recorder is a joint position responsible for locating all taxable property in the County and identifying their ownership, establishing a taxable value for all property subject to property taxation, maintaining public records, and collecting City revenues from the recording of legal documents.

Candidate must be a U.S. citizen, a registered voter, and otherwise qualified to vote for that office at the time that nomination papers are issued to the person.
