Eligibility requirements
No person shall be eligible for election to any City office or appointment to any board or commission who is not at the time of his election or appointment an elector of the City and any person ceasing to be an elector of the City shall thereupon cease to hold elective or appointive office in the City. Any elected official who ceases to be a resident of the aldermanic district which he represents shall cease to hold office.
