Job description

Members of the Governor's Council advise the governor on nominations of judicial officers, appointment and removal of notaries public and justices of the peace, issuance of pardons and commutations, and payment of monies from the treasury.

Must be at least 18 years of age, a registered voter in Massachusetts, a verified resident of the district for at least 5 years when elected.
