Eligibility requirements
Any person desiring to run for a Council position of said Town shall be at least twenty-one (21) years of age, shall have resided within the corporate limits of said Town at least one (1) year prior to the elections and be registered to vote in the Town for at least one (1) year prior to the election. Council members must continually reside in their respective ward at their primary residence within the corporate limits of the Town of Edmonston during the duration of their term of office.
