Job description
The City Police Chief or Marshal is the chief law enforcement officer of the city and is responsible for planning, directing, managing, and overseeing the activities and operations of the Police Department.
Eligibility requirements
Not be more than sixty years of age, shall have had at least five years’ executive experience in a governmental police agency and shall be certified by a surgeon or physician to be in a good physical condition, and shall be a citizen of the United States and shall either be or become a citizen of the state of Missouri and resident of the city.
