Job description
State Appellate Court judges are responsible for hearing cases on appeal from lower courts to determine if the law was interpreted and/or applied correctly. Judges in this position are seeking to retain their current seat.
Eligibility requirements
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen for at least 15 years, must be a district resident, must be a qualified Missouri voter for at least 9 years, must be licensed to practice law in Missouri, must be at least 30 years old, retirement is mandatory at age 70.
