The County Surveyor is responsible for administering the county land survey records, re-establishing and maintaining the official government survey monuments, and reviewing property boundaries surveys and subdivision plans.

Candidate must be a registered land surveyor, registered voter in the county, a resident of the county for at least 2 years, and must not have been convicted of a felony.
