Job description
Circuit Court Judges hear felony criminal prosecutions and civil lawsuits. Circuit Court Judges hear appeals from County, Justice and Municipal courts and from administrative boards and commissions such as the Workers' Compensation Commission and the Mississippi Department of Employment Security.

Candidate must be at least 26 years of age, a practicing attorney for five years, and a citizen of the state for five years.
