Job description
The County Weed Control Board is responsible for weed control on county property.
Eligibility requirements
The board shall be composed of five members, three of whom shall be from rural areas and two of whom shall be from cities, villages, or townships. County officials must be residents of the county when they accept the office but they do not need to be a resident when declaring their candidacy

The signature requirement is 10% of the total number of registered voters voting for Governor or President of the United States at the immediately preceding general election in the district or political subdivision in which the officer is to be elected, not to exceed 2,000 signatures.
