Job description
The county clerk is responsible for filing vital records, or important documents related to a specific county's population, including birth, death and marriage certificates. Also, a receiving agent for the county, the county treasurer oversees receipt for all public funds for: the County, the State of Nevada, the County School District, and other taxing entities within the County.
Eligibility requirements
18 years of age. Each board member must be a resident of the district from which he is elected for at least 30 days before filing declaration of candidacy for the office.
