County Court Judges are responsible for adjudicating cases in Civil and Criminal Courts at the trial-level in certain specific areas, such as small-claims court or drug court.
Eligibility requirements
Candidate must be a qualified elector residing in the county court district, must be admitted to practice as an attorney in Ohio and have been, for a total of at least six years, engaged in the practice of law in Ohio. Maximum age is 70 years.
