The State Superintendent of Schools is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the state's elementary and secondary schools.

Eligibility requirements

Must be at least 31 years old, a registered voter for 10 years, registered for 6 months as a voter with party if affiliated with a party, not convicted of any felonies or misdemeanors involving embezzlement in the last 15 years
