Job description

The County Assessor or County Appraiser is responsible for determining the value of property within the county.

Eligibility requirements

Must be a registered voter and resident of county one year prior to the election. The candidate must be a registered appraiser or an appraiser trainee; have two years accounting experience or two years employment in an appraiser’s office; and be certified to be eligible by the Dept. of Revenue.
