The Township Auditor is a member of a multi-person Board of Auditors charged with auditing, settling, and adjusting the accounts of all elected or appointed officials of the township received or disbursed township funds in the preceding calendar year.

All elected officers must be registered voters of the township, 18 years old and residents of the township for at least one year before their election.
