Job description

The Local Higher Education Board or Community College Board is responsible for approving projects on new units of instruction and public service, determining new standards for curriculum and administration, and developing procedures for transfer.

Eligibility requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen // Must be at least 18 years of age // Must not have been determined by a final judgment of a court exercising probate jurisdiction to be: (A) totally mentally incapacitated; or (B) partially mentally incapacitated without the right to vote // Must not have not been finally convicted of a felony from which the person has not been pardoned or otherwise released from the resulting disabilities // Must have resided continuously in the state for 12 months and in the territory from which the office is elected for six months prior to the filing deadline
