Job description

State Appellate Court judges are responsible for hearing cases on appeal from lower courts to determine if the law was interpreted and/or applied correctly. Judges in this position are seeking to retain their current seat.

Eligibility requirements

Candidate must be a United States citizen. He or she must have been a resident of Utah for at least three years. The person must be at least 25 years old and less than 75 years old. He or she must be admitted to practice law in Utah.
