Job description
The Township Treasurer is the fiscal officer responsible for managing the township's funds, keeping accounts of taxes and other revenues, paying out township funds at the direction of the Board of Supervisors, and preparing annual reports.
Eligibility requirements
A qualified elector -- a U.S. citizen, 18 years of age or older, who has resided in the election district for at least 28 consecutive days before any election at which he or she offers to vote -- of the town at the time of taking office.
