Meet eligibility requirements
Candidate must be at least 18 years of age, a resident of and registered voter in the city in which they seek office. Candidate must not have been convicted of a felony or an offense against the election laws, unless it has been fifteen years since the completion of the sentence for the crime or unless the person has been pardoned.

- Filing Fee is 1% of the total salary for the term of that office or $100.00, whichever amount is greater. Voter Signature Requirement is 5% of the registered voters of the district.
