Eligibility Requirements
Must be a citizen of the United States, a voter of and resident of the municipality, and of the ward if running for a ward office.
Filing Requirements
Filing fee = $0; petition signature requirement of the lesser of 5% of the registered voters of the ward based upon the number of registered voters recorded by the county auditor on the second Tuesday of January of the year of the election or 50 signatures.
