Eligibility Requirements

No person shall be eligible to the office of mayor or alderman unless he or she has been for at least one (1) year next before the election a citizen of Tennessee and an actual resident of the Town of Mountain City, and is at least twenty-five (25) years of age.

No filing fee. Petition signature requirement of 25 signatures.
