Eligibility Requirements
A person must be a registered voter and must reside on election day in the ward from which the person may be elected. Also each candidate for election to the city council or office of mayor shall be a qualified voter of the city, shall be not less than twenty-one (21) years of age, and shall have resided in the city not less than twelve (12) months immediately preceding election day
