Eligibility Requirements
Only registered voters of the City shall be eligible to hold the office of Councilmember or Mayor.
Filing Requirements
A filing fee of five dollars, or such other amount as may hereafter be set by the City Council, must be paid to the City Secretary by each candidate upon presentation of his or her application. The filing fee shall be waived if the candidate states in writing that payment thereof will constitute a financial hardship.
