Eligibility Requirements
Must be a U.S. citizen // Must be at least 18 years of age // Must have resided in Texas for 12 continuous months and in the city for six continuous months // Must be registered to vote within the boundaries of the city at the time of filing // Must not be indebted to the city
Filing Requirements
Filing fee of $100. Petition signature requirement of 0.5% of the entire vote cast for mayor in the preceding mayoral election, or twenty-five (25), whichever is greater (signatures only required without fee).
