Eligibility Requirements
A candidate must be qualified to vote for and hold the office sought, and be a resident of the Commonwealth of Virginia for one year immediately preceding the election.
Filing Requirements
Filing Fee: 2% of the minimum annual salary for the office sought in effect in the year in which the candidate files. Petition Signature Requirement: 125.
