Candidate must be at least 18 years old, a resident of the district, and a registered voter in the district.
Filing Requirements
Filing fee: 1% of fixed annual salary. If salary is less than $1,000 annually, filing fee is $25. If no salary, no filing fee. OR Petition signature requirement: number of signatures equal to the price in dollars of filing fee, rounded to nearest dollar. If salary is less than $1,000 annually, at least 10 signatures required.
