The State Supreme Court is responsible for correcting the errors of the inferior state courts. It exclusively hears appeals on legal issues from inferior state courts.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidate must be 18 years of age or older, who has resided in the election district for at least 10 consecutive days before any election at which he or she offers to vote, licensed to practice law in Wisconsin for 5 years immediately prior to the election and must be under the age of 70.

Filing Requirements

No filing fee; Signature requirement of 1,000 - 2,000.
