Eligibility Requirements
Candidate must be at least 30 years of age, a citizen of West Virginia for at least 5 years prior to election, must be a member in good standing with the West Virginia State Bar; admitted to practice law at least 10 years prior to election.
Filing Requirements
Filing fee is 1% of the annual salary of the office; no signature requirement.
