Housing As a state representative, Aaron will fight to end Georgia’s ban on rent control, strengthen tenant protections, end corporate tenant gouging, cap Georgia Power rate increases, advocate for a higher minimum wage, and promote state investment in daycare. Infrastructure / Transportation Aaron is committed to expanding MARTA access across Sandy Springs and the region, ensuring that people can get to work, school, and healthcare without needing a car. She’ll work to secure funding for a safe, reliable, and affordable transportation option to minimize traffic. Education Und essential staff: Guarantee counselors, nurses, and support personnel in every school. Infrastructure / Transportation Secure state funding: Prioritize public transit in state budgets for infrastructure, safety, and maintenance. Housing As a State Representative, Aaron will work to end Georgia’s ban on rent control and adamantly support legislation that enacts rent control at the city and state levels. Immigration She will champion due-process protections, access to legal representation, and language-access standards so immigrant families are not unlawfully detained, exploited, or deported in violation of their rights. Infrastructure / Transportation Improve accessibility: Ensure buses and trains accommodate seniors, students, and people with disabilities. Healthcare Aaron will defend the rights of patients and medical providers to make informed decisions regarding access to all forms of gender-affirming care. Healthcare Aaron will work to push legislation to expand Medicaid immediately, protect hospitals from closure, and ensure healthcare access isn’t determined by employment, race, or income. Wages / Job Benefits Aaron supports raising Georgia’s minimum wage to 20 per hour so that people who work full time can afford their bills, support their families, and live with dignity.
