Education Pay our teachers more! So, we can attract and retain high quality teachers. Social Services Establish universal childcare for all Nevada parents. Education Increase funding for scholarships and medical institutions like UNLV and Nevada State University that will provide for more medical professionals in Nevada. Economy I will also push for policies that level the playing field, ensuring that small businesses are not unfairly pushed out by large corporations. By supporting small businesses, we can create a more vibrant and diverse economy. Education Invest in more public education infrastructure for trade schools. Housing I will propose legislation that bans or prevents big corporations from hoarding single-family homes. Defense / Veterans Support projects that expand housing for homeless Veterans. Taxes / Budget Raise the federal minimum wage to a livable wage of at least 17 dollars an hour and index it to inflation.
