Alissa Ellman

Infrastructure / Transportation Alissa is focused on helping the rest of us, the crews fixing our roads who work well past midnight, the people who spend all day cramped in their office, the small business owners struggling to stay open, and all the people struggling in between. Infrastructure / Transportation Alissa will also work to secure funds for improvements to our water systems. Alissa will also work with all of our communities to help secure federal grants to repair and improve our infrastructure from the ground up. Infrastructure / Transportation Claudia Tenney continues to slash the funding we need to fix our communities. Alissa knows how important it is to fund our communities well into the future. Wages / Job Benefits Alissa believes in passing the PRO Act to protect workers who are organizing a union, to end right to work laws, and to prevent abuses of the “independent contractor” loophole that disenfranchises thousands of workers across the district. Abortion / Contraception Alissa has been a long time ally of LGBTQ rights, a defender of a woman’s right to choose, and a fighter against racism in all of its forms. Alissa believes there is a place for anyone who wants to call America their home.
