Environment / Energy A healthy environment is the foundation of a healthy community. I’m dedicated to planting shade trees, expanding green spaces, priortizing clean air & dirt, and leading initiatives that proactively address climate change and promote sustainability in our city. Infrastructure / Transportation Safe streets & crosswalks, assessible sidewalks, public performance space upgrades, and well-maintained public spaces are essential for a thriving community. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Public safety is more than just law enforcement. It is the feeling and experience of safety, trust and empowerment. I will work to create a holistic approach that includes connecting beat cops/community police, Behavioral Health Liaisons, and other important resources with neighbors. Government Reform As your council representative, I will host quarterly in-person town halls, monthly zoom office hours, and bi-weekly listening sessions in the community to hear your concerns. Housing I'll advocate for stricter rental laws, limit short-term rentals, implement a vacancy tax, prevent foreclosures, increase parking, and streamline development processes and help put that needle on the record!.
