Social Services Beth will work for better access to childcare to grow our economy, increase tax revenue, reduce workforce shortages and improve the financial stability and security of working families. Infrastructure / Transportation Beth is committed to investing in our future by fighting for statewide fiber-optic broadband and the reliable roads and bridges—including a new bridge for Wheeling Island—necessary to sustain robust commerce, and fighting to develop a highly skilled and well-prepared workforce by strengthening our educational system at all levels: K-12, higher education, and the skilled trades. Economy West Virginia currently burdens employers with excessive regulations and unnecessary hurdles. To foster a thriving economy, Beth will work to create a business-friendly environment that simplifies operations and accelerates job creation, all while maintaining essential protections for our workforce and the environment. Taxes / Budget Beth believes that lower taxes are the primary engine for economic growth and increased revenue. Individuals and businesses understand their own financial needs better than the government and deserve a simpler, fairer tax system that allows them to keep more of what they earn. Guns Beth believes in the absolute sanctity of the Bill of Rights, with no exceptions. And she believes every single amendment must be vigorously protected, especially those under attack from the radical left. She is a firm advocate for law-abiding gun owners and will always fight to ensure our Second Amendment rights remain uninfringed. Legislation She strongly believes that biological sex alone should determine access to bathrooms, locker rooms, and sports. Beth will always stand up for the privacy and fairness that West Virginia women deserve. Education Beth believes our teachers and students deserve better, and she will fight to bring educator pay in line with neighboring states to solve this crisis. Drug Policy She’s tough on crime and tireless in the fight against the fentanyl and opioid crisis tearing apart our communities. Drug Policy Her multi-faceted plan involves a comprehensive strategy: empowering law enforcement to crack down hard on trafficking, strengthening mental health treatment and prevention programs, and providing robust re-entry support to break the cycle of addiction.
