Housing While there are promising new developments on the horizon, we need to do more to ensure that a range of housing options is available, including homes that fit modest budgets. Economy If we want a thriving, walkable downtown with full storefronts and an active street life, we need to look at creative solutions—whether that's working with property owners on fairer lease terms, promoting pop-up and shared retail spaces, or making it easier for residents and workers to live nearby. Infrastructure / Transportation Expanding public transit to connect Saline would open new opportunities for workers and students, strengthen our local workforce, and reduce the number of cars on the road.
