My Top Issues

Invest in local public education

I want Vestavia to remain one of the best schools in the country

Properly fund emergency services

I want to make sure our police and fire fighters have the tools and resources they need

Develop new green spaces and community gardens

Want to see more parks

Economy

A thriving local economy benefits everyone. I support attracting new businesses that align with our community’s character and create local jobs. Revitalizing underdeveloped areas, especially the southern section of Highway 31, will help bring new life, better services, and more opportunities for residents while protecting what makes Vestavia special.

Education

Our Board of Education, zoning board, and other city committees shape the future of Vestavia. I will work to ensure that only the most qualified, dedicated individuals are appointed — people who truly care about our schools, neighborhoods, and families.

Infrastructure / Transportation

We all want to preserve the beauty and livability of Vestavia. That means addressing overdevelopment and making sure we don’t sacrifice green spaces or worsen flooding issues. Better management of stormwater runoff and thoughtful planning will help protect our homes, our environment, and our quality of life.

Taxes / Budget

I believe in being a good steward of your tax dollars. We must manage the city’s budget wisely to get the best return on every dollar we spend — without asking families to pay more. By focusing on efficiency and transparency, we can do more with what we have.

Infrastructure / Transportation

Everyone should feel safe walking, biking, or driving through our city. That’s why I support expanding sidewalks, improving pedestrian crossings, and making our streets safer for families, children, and seniors alike. Good accessibility strengthens neighborhoods and keeps us connected.

Environment / Energy

Our seniors deserve support, resources, and respect. At the same time, we must create more parks and green spaces where kids can play, families can gather, and nature can thrive. It’s about balance — honoring our past, serving our present, and protecting our future.
