My Top Issues

Economy

As your next Mayor, with over 20 years of experience in construction, manufacturing, engineering, and real estate development, I will invest in scalable workforce development programs for young adults and youth.

Economy

I will focus on strengthening our local economic and tax base. We must invest in our new and established entrepreneurs. We must expand opportunity for our young professionals and senior professionals who venture into business for the first time.

Legislation

On my first day as Mayor, I will work with the City Council to amend the Mayor Council Act, ensuring compliance with Section 43 of the Alabama 1901 Constitution by allocating resources for the City Council to hire an independent lawyer.

Legislation

I will implement checks and balances in City Hall to protect taxpayers from corruption, including conflicts of interest and misuse of funds by elected officials and staff. My goal is to ensure that public servants prioritize taxpayers' interests.

Economy

With my commitment to serve from day one, I will dedicate myself to revitalizing our under-resourced and underserved areas while always fostering the growth of our existing strong and thriving communities.

Criminal Justice / Public Safety

I will support the Birmingham Police Department and invest more in Police Athletic Teams (PAT) from the start to make a significant impact. Additionally, my focus will be on all the services the city provide that interact with citizens daily life.

Social Services

We must invest in modern parks and recreation facilities so our residents do not have to travel to surrounding cities. I will work to provide state-of-the-art recreation centers to enhance our neighborhoods.

Taxes / Budget

I will protect the growth of our tax base so this city can expand in all directions. The public purpose of safeguarding and enhancing property values and the economy is outlined in local, state, and federal law.
