My Top Issues

Taxes / Budget

Ensuring that all of our residents receive basic city services, and that our tax dollars and city resources address the needs of our district and residents. All of our residents, from youth to seniors, deserve a good quality of life and an accessible and accountable government.

Infrastructure / Transportation

Advocating for an equitable public transit system so that residents can work, play, and learn without worrying about how they will get around the city and the surrounding areas.

Criminal Justice / Public Safety

Improving public safety by investing in preventative measures, community violence intervention programs and mental health services. We must address the root causes of harm and violence, along with ensuring our communities are well-resourced.

Environment / Energy

Strengthening our climate-resilient infrastructure to combat flooding and damage by partnering with advocates and officials on all levels of government and pushing for the right to clean air and affordable drinking water to be a reality for every resident.

Housing

Fighting for truly affordable housing, increasing home ownership, advocating for residents’ rights, and pushing back against those who try to take advantage of homeowners and tenants.
