Fun Fact
My claim to fame is 5 Holes in one in golf.
Past Experience
I have 25 years of Business Management experience in our community. I have a lot of name recognition due to those 25 years of being active in my business. Our current commissioners are too eager to spend other people's money. They rubber stamp what our City Manager decides. I had to make endless financial decisions, and it was my money so I made sure it was spent wisely!
My Top Issues
Streamlining business licensing and permitting
Our City Hall Building Services dept is difficult to work with!
Fiscal Responsibility
Decisions need to be made to reduce spending.
Work for the Citizens, not the City Leaders.
The current Commissioners always support the City's position. We, our City, is currently involved in a lawsuit with a small business regarding a mural on the wall. A 103 year old business that has been in the same location selling the same product for 103 years. This issue should have been worked out!
Who I'm Running Against
John Price (Republican Party)
Former commissioner. May have an axe to grind with the City. About all I know.
Bill Longbine (Independent)
Current Commissioner. The average Citizen wants change from the current leadership.
Trent Davis (Democrat Party)
Current Commissioner. The average Citizen wants change from the current leadership.
Greg Lenkiewicz (Republican Party)
Current Mayor. The average Citizen wants change from the current leadership.
Johnnie Keller (Libertarian Party)
Good guy and will do a great job. I hope he gets one of the 3 open seats!
