My Top Issues
Education
I believe strong schools are the heart of a strong community, and I’m committed to supporting our parents, teachers, and students every step of the way.
Infrastructure / Transportation
I also believe it’s time we prioritize more inclusive play options for children with disabilities. Every child deserves the chance to play, explore, and feel a sense of belonging. From adaptive equipment to thoughtfully designed spaces, we can and should do better.
Infrastructure / Transportation
I believe long-term planning should prioritize quality of life for our residents and not just short-term gains. That means protecting what makes Orange Beach special and making sure growth doesn’t come at the expense of safety, livability, or our environment.
Criminal Justice / Public Safety
I believe strong public safety starts with strong support. That means making sure our police and fire departments have the staffing, training, equipment, and facilities they need to do their jobs effectively and safely. It also means fostering open communication between city leadership and our first responders so they feel heard, respected, and empowered.
Taxes / Budget
If elected, I’ll bring both legal insight and common-sense budgeting to the table. I believe in asking the right questions, insisting on transparency, and ensuring that our resources are directed toward priorities that benefit our residents, and not preventable legal costs.
Criminal Justice / Public Safety
Our police officers, firefighters, and first responders are the backbone of public safety in Orange Beach. They show up every single day, and often in the most difficult circumstances, to protect our families, our homes, and our way of life. As a mother and resident, I’m deeply grateful for their service and unwavering commitment to our community.
Education
I’ll continue to be a hands-on advocate for our schools—pushing for thoughtful investments, strong communication, and policies that empower both educators and families.
Infrastructure / Transportation
I’m committed to maintaining and improving our parks and recreational facilities. I’d love to see the kids park enhanced with shade structures to provide much-needed relief from the South Alabama heat, and I fully support adding a splash pad, which is an inclusive, affordable way for children to cool off and play during our long summer months.
Infrastructure / Transportation
If elected, I am firmly committed to voting against any up-zoning proposals that would increase density in areas not built to handle it. We need to preserve the character of our neighborhoods, protect green space, and ensure our roads, schools, and services can keep up with demand before approving new development.
