Fun Fact
I'm a skier, a dog lover, a wife, a mother and I work full-time for a Utah owned software company. I bring 100% to everything I do and I love working with people to get things done. Moving projects (work or getting dogs adopted) over the finish line brings me such satisfaction!
Past Experience
Why I’m Running
I’m running because I believe national politics have become increasingly divisive and disconnected from the real needs of everyday people. While we can’t control everything happening in Washington, we can build something better right here at home.
I believe that strong communities are the foundation of a strong nation—and that change starts locally. That’s why I’m committed to putting people over party, solutions over slogans, and community over conflict.
Local races should be nonpartisan, and I’m fiercely independent. I’m not here to serve a party—I’m here to serve you. By focusing on what unites us and investing in our neighborhoods, schools, and local services, we can create a community that supports everyone and stands resilient no matter what happens beyond our borders.
My Top Issues
Environment / Energy
Protecting Open Spaces: A big part of what makes Sandy a wonderful place to live is our existing open spaces, from Dimple Dell to our maintained parks and trails. It's imperative that we protect these areas, while making improvements where we can, like dog parks.
Government Reform
Prioritize Communication: A well-informed city is a stronger city. I want to find creative ways to disseminate information about the city and it's services.
Environment / Energy
Sustainability: I want to continue the sustainability initiatives already in place. Managing our resources responsibility is an important part of Sandy's future.
Government Reform
Bringing people together: I want to champion the voices of our residents to ensure Sandy works for everyone. I've done community organizing work, and have seen the power of elected officials and citizens working together to solve problems.
