Infrastructure / Transportation Safe, reliable transportation is vital for every Ward 5 resident, and that begins with immediately enforcing our existing laws to stop fare evasion and reduce crime on Metro. We must stop prioritizing speed camera revenue over actual street safety and demand efficiency from WMATA, ensuring every transportation dollar serves riders and taxpayers first. Education Concerns persist about uneven results in public education and the decline of neighborhood schools, which affects families' investment in the community. Technical and vocational education is the key for our next generation of students, as the four-year degree path is looking to be unattractive.
