At age 56, I hiked the Camino De Santiago solo with a 65lb backpack: 200 miles in 20 days.

Past Experience

I have extensive experience in teaching, having worked directly with students to foster learning, growth, and engagement. In addition, I have collaborated closely with board members, gaining insight into governance, policy-making, this experience will help with the challenges of supporting both educators and students effectively. This combination of teaching and board-level experience gives me a unique perspective on how to create policies that truly benefit students, teachers, and the community.

I champion local control, empowering parents, teachers, and taxpayers to shape a curriculum boosting critical thinking and test scores.
