Past Experience

Barry is a dedicated community leader and lifelong resident of Phenix City, Barry is running for City Council in District 2 to bring about real change. My campaign is built on three core principles: making our community Safe through enhanced community policing, keeping our city Clean by addressing neglected areas and improving our environment, and keeping Phenix City Thriving by supporting local businesses, improving our parks, and making our sales tax competitive. Together, we can create a better future for District 2.

My Top Issues

Enhancing community policing

I beleive that by bringing the ploice into the communities and interacting with the people of the community, we can bring more awareness to the things that are going on in the communities both the good and the bad and work on keeping everyone safe and active in their own community.

Thriving local businesses

We need to support local business both existing and promoting new business to come to phenix city. Look at what we can do to the sales tax so we can compete with our neibors in columbus and surrounding area.

Clean air and water

We need to get our polution in our creeks and tributaries cleaned up. We need to get the water teatment facility fiexed first then upgraded to handel the ammount of waste we are creating.
