Social Services Create a District 8 non-profit organization to foster community empowerment, address community needs, boost civic engagement, foster self-sufficiency, and allow District 8 to gain grant eligibility. Education Build strategic community partnerships to pool resources, support our local businesses, build a stronger, more vibrant community, and develop innovative solutions to our various community challenges. Environment / Energy Organize and host Quarterly District 8 Community Clean Up Days to help combat litter's negative impact on our communities’ aesthetics, public health, environment, and crime rates. Social Services Invest and implement Mental Health Awareness Programs for District 8 residents (adolescents and adults).
